Mrs. Virginia Ruth McCurry Walker, 71, of 117 Lanark Drive, Casarm died in Hospice at Wendover. She is the daughter of the late Lee Bryan McCurry and Nora Blanch Owens McCurry. Mrs. Walker retired from Shadowline where she worked as an assembler. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Ruby Johnson; and brother, Johnny Hugh McCurry. Survivors include her husband, Willard Dewey Walker; sons, Billy Walker (Debbie) of Casar and Terry Walker (Gina), of Lawndale; brothers, Lee McCurry of Casar and James McCurry of Taylorsville; sister, Blanche Pressley of Forest City; four grandchildren, Shaun Walker, Lindsay Walker, Jacob Walker and Joey Seagle; and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held on October 23, 2008 at Olive Grove Baptist Church. Officiated by The Rev. Terrill Crump. Memorials: Hospice Cleveland County, 951 Wendover Heights Drive, Shelby, NC 28150
