Willie Love Wallace Sr., 85, of Delco, died in Cape Fear Memorial Hospital Monday after a short illness. A retired farmer, Mr. Wallace was a native of Columbus County, a member of Union Grove Free Will Baptist Church and the son of the late Martha Jane Wallace. His wife, Mrs. Lizzie James Wallace, died in 1962. Final rites were held Wednesday at 3 pm at Union Grove Free Will Baptist Church by the Revs H.W. English, J.O. Dunn and Jesse Parks, with burial in the church cemetery. Survivors include five sons: E.W. Wallace, Wilmington, Roley, D.J., Tom and Willie L. Wallace Jr. all of Delco; two daughters, Mrs. C.T. Wilkins, Florence, South Carolina, Mrs. Alex Lewis, Wilmington; a sister, Mrs. Emma Little, Bolton; 25 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren.
