She was born Nov. 5, 1933, near Brandon, daughter of Charles and Vera Gallaher Rouse. She married Bernard L. Schnepf on Jan. 2, 1951, in Independence. He died in 2006.
Mrs. Schnepf attended Brandon High School, Brandon, and prior to retirement was employed with the Corn Blossom Co., the Gayla Ballroom, Rush Park Cafe, Tegen's Five & Dime Store and Buchanan County Home.
Survived by: two daughters, Nancy (Tom) Krapfl of Center Point and Janet (Mitchell) Gericke of Walker; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Russell Rouse of Independence.
Preceded in death by: a great-grandchild; a son, David; two sisters, Opal Rouse and Genevieve Bauer; and a brother, Carl Rouse.
Services: 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Reiff Funeral Home & Crematory, with burial in Mount Hope Cemetery, both in Independence. Public visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
