Mr. Branch was a member and Deacon of West New Home Baptist Church, Holly Ridge, LA a life long cotton farmer and aerial applicator for over 27 years. A member of the Rayville Kiwanis Club and a volunteer fireman with the Holly Ridge Fire department, Gary was respected by all who knew him. He was always ready to extend a helping hand or good advice whenever asked. He loved flying but his true love was his family. He was preceded in death by his mother Mrs. Dorothy Inez Branch.
He is survived by his Wife Carolyn Branch of Rayville, LA a son; Timothy Branch and his wife Kyla of Rayville, LA; daughter RebeKah Branch of Belvidere, IL. and son Aaron Branch and his wife Jennifer of Rayville, LA, his father Autra B. Branch also of Rayville, LA, brother Dion Branch and a sister Edith Traxler both of Rayville, LA. Grandchildren Corran Mitchell Branch, Dalton Avery Branch "DAB" and Dorothy LeNai Branch.
Pallbearers will be Bennie Love, John David Nix, Bendal Clack, Charlie Morgan, Eric Silk and Claydeen Clack
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Visitation will be from 5-8 PM Wednesday August 16, 2006 at the funeral home.
