Funeral services were held Saturday, June 30, 1973 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Rayville where she was a member, with Dr. H.R. Herrington officiating, assisted by Rev. Gene Hill of Holly Ridge.
Interment was in the Greer Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Rayville.
Survivors include three sons, Woodroe Templeton, Wesley Templeton and Claude Templeton; two daughters, Vernie Ellis and Jettie Sharbono; all of Rayville; one brother, A.L. Telano of Monroe; one sister, Maude Gable of Start; 14 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
Pallbearers were her nephews, Willie Telano, Jr., Glenn Gable, Beadie Lammert, Earl Telano, Teddy Jo Telano and Clifford Tharp.
