John Bowman former switch man for the Terminal Railroad Association, had received a 65 year pin from the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen, Lodge 1086. Bowman, 87, is the oldest living member of his Lodge, Which was named the JOHN BOWMAN Lodge, in his honor a year ago. He started his career in railroading at the age of 17, and had worked for the Terminal Railroad Association from 1894 until his retirement in 1938. He has been a member of the Brotherhood since 1884, Mrs. Bowman was presented with a 60 year pin by the ladies Auxiliary. Lodge 28, The ceremony took place at the Bowman's home 6015 Magnolia Ave. They have been married 63 years.
