LEO, Ind. – Former Paulding resident Ruth Anna Guingrich Foley, age 92, died Tuesday, Jan. 30, at the University Park Nursing Home, Fort Wayne. She was born Feb. 7, 1914, in Champaign County, Ill., the daughter of Frank and Theresa (Scheurich) Reinhart. On Feb. 18, 1975 she married Frederick J. Foley, who preceded her in death on Sept. 9, 1998. She was formerly employed by William Sinn Accounting, Paulding.
She is survived by three sons, Ronald (Emily) Guingrich of Leo, Harry Guingrich of Coldwater, Mich., and Monte (Kathy) Guingrich of Delaware, Ohio; a daughter, Sharon (Robert) Minnich, Fort Wayne; three stepchildren: Gary Foley of Elida, Ramona Bostic of Convoy, and Patricia Putman of Fort Wayne; a brother, Leonard Reinhart, Palmetto, Fla.; a sister, Christine Arend, Wauchula, Fla.; 17 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and many stepgrandchildren and great-stepgrandchildren. She also was preceded in death by a stepdaughter, Barbara Nickerson; five brothers, Herbert, James, Raymond, Ralph and Lawrence Reinhart; and two sisters, Mary Bradley and Edna Meyers.
Funeral services were held Friday, Feb. 2, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Paulding, with the Rev. G. Allan Fillman officiating. Burial was in Convoy IOOF Cemetery, Convoy. Den Herder Funeral Home, Paulding, was in charge of arrangements.
