Lottie V. Gross is the ninth child of Jacob E. Gross, 1848-1933, and Elizabeth Schwartz Gross, 1847-1925. They married in 1868 and are the parents of 11 children. Jacob is the oldest child of Conrad Gross, 1810-1873, and Anna Christine Pflainig Gross, 1817-1905 and brother of Elizabeth Gross Schultz, 1850-1931, Henry Gross, 1854-1864, Catherine Gross, 1855-1864, John Andrew Gross, 1856-1924, and Adolpus Fredrich Gross, 1858-1964. Three Gross siblings died in Oct 1864 from diphtheria as stated on the summary page of the 1865 state census.

Services will be held Tuesday for Lottie V. Gross, a 46 year resident of Spring Valley, who died Saturday of natural causes at Good Samaritan Hospital, Suffern. She was 92.
Born in New City, Ms. Gross lived at 154 W. Central Ave. She was the female attendant at the Sniffen Funeral Home, Spring Valley, for 46 years. She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Florence Schmidt of New City.
Burial will be in Germonds Cemetery.
