Elizabeth A. Bruhns, 72, formerly of Oak Park is the mother of Kirk, Kyle (Laura), Kelly (Jay Lopez) and Kris (Teresa) Bruhns; grandchildren, Jakob Bruhns, Taylor and Jay Lopez, Kathryn and Matthew Bruhns; siblings, Bob (Norma Jean), Doug (Cathy) and the late Jack Jacobsen. Elizabeth was a retired, longtime school teacher in the Oak Park Elementary School District and served as President of the Oak Park Teachers Association. She was on the Board of Directors with IEA. Elizabeth was an active member of the Illinois Master Gardeners Association. Memorial visitation is Sunday, October 26, 2008, from 2 to 9 p.m. at Drechsler, Brown & Williams Funeral Home, 203 S.
