CONNIE SUE FISHER
Anamosa, Iowa
CONNIE SUE {CURTIN} FISHER, age 62, of Anamosa, Iowa, peacefully passed to a greater life at her Delhi lake home, on Wednesday evening, October 22, 2008 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday morning, October 27, 2008 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Anamosa, Iowa.Rev. George Karnik will officiate at the services. Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the Goettsch Funeral Home, Anamosa, Iowa, where a parish Scripture Service will be held at 7 p.m.
Interment will be in the HOLY CROSS CEMETERY, Anamosa, Jones County, Iowa.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established. Online condolences may be made to www.goettschonline.com

husband: FRED;
three children: KELLY (Bryan) JOHNSON, Des Moines, Iowa; ERIC(Jennie) FISHER, Marion, Iowa;
MATT (Mackenzie) FISHER, Cedar Rapids, Iowa;
six grandchildren: BOUDICCA, TYLER and CARLIE FISHER; JACOB and ZACHARY JJOHNSON;
NAIZEY FISHER;
brother: GREG(Madeline) CURTIN, Prophets Town, IL.;
GLENDA FLEMMING, Amboy, IL.;
CONNIE WAS PREDEDED IN DEATH BY:
her Parents; JAMES and WILMA CURTIN;

CONSTANCE SUE CURTIN Sue was born April 11, 1946 at Waukon, Iowa. She was the daughter of JAMES and WILMA {GOEKE} CURTIN.
CONNIE graduated from the Midland Community Schools in Wyoming, Iowa. She continued her education at University College of Cosmetology in Iowa City, Iowa.
CONNIE then worked as a beautician in Mount Vernon, Iowa.
CONNIE SUE CURTIN and FRED FISHER were married August 12, 1967 at Oxford Junction, Iowa.
The couple made their home in Anamosa, Iowa, where CONNIE worked as a dental technician for 18 years. She later worked as a teller at Security State Bank for 8 years. She retired in 2003.
CONNIE loved spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed her flowers and lake home. She will be remembered as a very kind and generous person.
The family would like to thank all the medical staffs and CONNIE's many friends and family, who supported her during this long journey.
