My grandfather's sister or my great aunt. She was 13 years old when her mother died. Her name was Carolina Olivia Garlotte Richard (1875-1903)

She married William Jacob Dupree on Feb. 28, 1907 at the age of 17.

Adele's father Edward"Plute" Richard (1858-1912) Both are buried in the Biloxi City Cemetery.

I remember when I was very young how much I enjoyed going into the woods. It seemed like it took forever to get there. After all, that was Fort Bayou. I do remember all the children there. Which would have been her grandchildren.
