Hattie was born Oct 8th, 1922 to James and Hattie Catherine Jackson in Smithville, Texas. She was the third of four chilfren born to that union. Hattie and her family latter moved to Dallas Tx where she attended highschool. After compleating highschool she met and married Mr. Andrew Van. From this union a daughter was born, Ann. Hattie expressed her love for the Lord and humanity by giving and healping those around her freely and without hesitation. She always encouraged those around her to be the best they could be and to love and trust in the Lord. Hattie leaves to mourn a daughter Ann J. Hayes(now deceased), a son in law Earl Hayes Jr., two grandchildren Nicole and Michael, several nicces,precious,gloria, la kesha and shaniqua, an uncle j.c and a host or other relatives and friends. My grandmother died april 7th 1996 Easter Sunday morning at 11am. She died of a massive heart attack.I miss you grandma my mother is with you now and i know you guys are having a big family reunion. im still here to grieve you and my mother but i know one day i will be with you all.
