Sam, age 55, passed away at Mercy Health Center in Manhattan. He was the son of Willy and Ruth (Fraser) Shienle. He graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in Tacoma, Washington and had a 20-year career in the US Air Force serving as a plumbing technician. He married Tammy Spain on January 17, 1987, but later divorced. He is survived by his children, Michelle Schienle and David Schienle, and his siblings, Traci Soporsop, Linda Flatt, and Jack Schienle. Funeral services were held at Campanella-Evans Mortuary in Wamego. Burial was in St. George Cemetery, with military honors.
