Services for Mrs. Minnie L. Buffington, 84, of Rt. 3, Box 197, Carthage, were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Jimerson Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Nathan Helms officiated. Burial was in Restland Memorial Park.
Mrs. Buffington died at 11 a.m. Monday in Panola General Hospital.
She was born Jan. 31, 1897 in Brazoria County and had been a resident of the Carthage area since 1965, moving here from Pasadena. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include her husband, W.H. Buffington; and a sister, Mrs. Florence Pinson, both of Carthage; and numerous cousins.
