Graveside services for Paul Edward Livingston, 82, of Lake Cherokee, will be 2 p.m. Monday, October 27, 2008, at Stewart Cemetery near Henderson, Texas, on FM 782, with the Rev. Betty Wills officiating. Burial will follow in Stewart Cemetery under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Mr. Livingston passed away Friday, October 24, 2008, at his residence

He was born September 22, 1926, in Hutchinson, Kansas, to Babe and Bell Mayfield Livingston. He served in the the U.S. Navy during World War II and was a retired firefighter with the Hutchinson Fire Department. He had lived in Lake Cherokee since 1976, moving there from Hutchinson, Kansas.

He is survived by his wife, Mary of Lake Cherokee; two daughters and sons-in-law, Paulette Larimore and husband, Dennis, of Phoenix, Ariz., and Linda Reneau and husband, Rocky Davis, of Elephant Butte, N.M.; three grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Marie Strickland and husband, Jim, of Hutchinson, Kan., and Louise Kindred and husband, Gary, of Arlington, Texas; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a son, Joe Edward Livingston; brother, Bill Livingston; and his parents, Babe and Bell Livingston.
