Tracy Dawn Alt, 41, of Rt. 6, Knobley Road, Keyser, WV, died Tuesday, September 27, 2005 at her residence.
Born on April 26, 1964 at Keyser, WV, she was a daughter of Robert D. and Phyllis A. (Sanders) Harman of Keyser. Her husband, Charles Vohn "Chuck" Alt, Jr. also died on Tuesday, September 27, 2005. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Ashley Dawn Alt; a brother, Philip Lee Harman; paternal grandparents, Herbert and Lillian Harman; maternal grandparents, Chelsie and Anna Mae Sanders and her maternal step-grandmother, Ruby Sanders.

Mrs. Alt was a co-owner and the head waitress of the Mountaineer All-Star Café in Keyser. A 1982 graduate of Keyser High School, she was a member of the Calvary United Methodist Church and was an avid motorcyclist and was a member of the FB Bike Club. She especially loved and adored not only her own children, but all of her nieces and nephews. She loved taking care of her home and was a dedicated NASCAR fan.

Surviving, in addition to her parents are two daughters, Mia Leigh Alt and fiancé Jerry Sweitzer and Holly Jo Alt and boyfriend, John Oglesbee, all of Keyser; two sisters, Kelley Kuhn and husband Jeff of Keyser and Kami Beth Stafford and husband Harold of Lonaconing; two brothers, Robert Craig Harman and wife Cathy and S. Kirk Harman and wife Jennifer, all of Keyser. Also surviving are her mother-in-law, L. Jean Alt of Keyser; one brother-in-law; one sister-in-law, a special AFS sister, Grace Wingrove and husband Alan of South Africa; a step-grandchild, Erica Sweitzer and a large number of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many close friends. Tracy and Chuck were also very excited about the upcoming birth of their future grandchild.

Friends were received at the Smith Funeral Home, Keyser Chapel, on Monday, October 3 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.

A joint funeral service for Mrs. Alt and her husband was conducted at the Smith Funeral Home, Keyser Chapel, on Tuesday, October 4 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Bill Linhart officiating.

Interment was in the Potomac Memorial Gardens, Keyser.

The family requests that memorial contributions be directed to Tracy's daughters, Mia and Holly Alt at 1090 Carolina Avenue, Keyser, WV 26726
