Graveside funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Foresthill Protestant Cemetery for Claude Maxwell Murphy who died last Saturday at his Foresthill home. He was 70.
A native of Stockton, Mr. Murphy had lived in Foresthill for the past 25 years. he was employed by American Forest Products. He was an army veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Lenore E. Murphy; three sons, Richard of Oakland, and Kenneth and John, both of Livermore, and a daughter Judith Lang of Auburn.
The service are under the direction of the Chapel of the Hills in Auburn. The Rev. Gary Anderson will officiate.
