Born October 18, 1902 in Wallsburg, Utah to Ephraim Albert and Polly Ann Lamb Batty . Married Ethel Boren. She died July 18, 1952. Married Lottie Remund September 1, 1953 in the Salt Lake Temple.
Active member LDS Church, serving in the bishopric and on the Stake High Council. Helped build the Wallsburg Chapel. Served on the Public Welfare Board. Farmer and Forest Service Employee.
Survived by wife of Daniel; children: Leda Givens; Cullen D. Batty , both of Wallsburg; Lois Evans, Riverton, Wyo.; 10 grandchildren; 10 step-grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren; sister, Vilate Wall, Salt Lake City. Preceded in death by two brothers and five sisters and four grandchildren.
Funeral services Monday, 11 a.m. at the Wallsburg Ward. Friends may call at Olpin Mortuary, Sunday, 6-8 p.m. and Monday one hour prior to services at the church. Burial Wallsburg Cemetery
