Russian Major-General of the World War I. After the revolution of 1917 - chief of the White Russian Military Mission to London. After the mission stopped its existence, he settled in Chelsea area of London and trained as an artist, taking part in the exhibitions of the Royal Art Society.

On Feb. 28, 1942, shortly before his 66th birthday, at Torquay, Boris Heroys, of 10, Colin Road, Paignton, Major-General, Russian Imperial Army (Foot Guards), son of the late Major-General Vladimir Alexandrovitch Heroys and father of Helene and Vladimir.
