SHE MARRIED LOUIS ALFRED EARL "BUD" WOLFE 31 JUL 1946 IN SULLIVAN COUNTY, TENNESSEE. GOD BLESSED THIS MARRIAGE WITH THE FOLLOWING CHILDREN: KAREN ANITA AND JAMES EARL WOLFE.

GOLDA ALICE CARROLL WAS THE SIBLING OF BEULAH MATILDA MAE, THOMAS HOWARD, ELLA LOU, CHARLES LINCOLN, EZRA CONNER, FERDINAND TILFORD JR, TWIN BABY SISTERS, CORPORAL JAMES EVERETT, LEATRICE GENELLA AND BETTY JO MARCELENE CARROLL.

GOLDA ALICE CARROLL WOLFE WAS MY MATERNAL AUNT.

KINGSPORT – Goldie Alice Carroll Wolfe went home to be with the Lord, on Wednesday, December 6, 2000.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl (Bub) Wolfe; her parents, Rev. Ferdinand Tilford and Vonia Lou Dunham Carroll; her paternal grandparents, Charles Winton and Matilda Yates Carroll; her maternal grandparents, Abraham "Abe" and Matilda Alice Clifton Dunham; five brothers, Thomas Howard, Charles Lincoln, Ezra Conner, Frank T. "Little F. T." and James Everett; three sisters, Beulah Mae Wright, Ella Lou Holt and Betty Jo Marcelene "Marcie" Seidel.

She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Karen Anita and William "Bill" Hite of Kingsport, one son and daughter-in-law, James Earl and Dana Carol Adams Wolfe of Kingsport; two granddaughters, Natalie Lyn and Lori Lea Hite of Kingsport; one great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Gott; one sister, Leatrice Genella Carroll Quarry of Church Hill; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbors.

Visitation will be from 7-9 p.m., Friday, December 8 at the Hamlett Dobson Funeral Home Chapel and burial will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 9, in Liberty Hill Cemetery, Mt. Carmel.
