The text of Arthur's obituary as published in Today's Sunbeam (Sunday, March 13, 1988) reads:

Arthur Bell, Jr., 67, of Quinton, died Friday at The Memorial Hospital of Salem County. Mr. Bell, son of the late Margaret (nee Moore) and Arthur Bell, Sr. of Bridgeton, had lived most of his life in the Quinton area. He retired in 1977 from the Du Pont Chambers Works where he had been an operator for years.

A sergeant in the U.S. Army during World War II, he was a member of the Cpl. Joseph C. Toulson VFW Post 253, Tilbury, and a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose of Salem. He is survived by a sister, Jean Cole of Quinton.
