Kenneth Barker, 44, of Mulberry died Monday, Oct. 27, 2008, in Fort Smith. He was born Oct. 5, 1964, in Fort Smith. He was employed at Red Lobster and a member of First Baptist Church in Mulberry. He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Leon Barker Sr.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Barker of the home; one sister, Pamela McDonald of Alma; four nieces, Tiffany Mendoza of Alma, Teresa McDonald of Alma, Tonya McDonald of Alma and Tasha McDonald of Alma; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 31, 2008, at First Baptist Church in Mulberry with burial at New Cemetery in Mulberry under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Karl Kruskopp, Stephen Kruskopp, Charles Kiser, Joey Wilcox, Nathan Wilcox, Donnie Wilcox, Robert Ellison and Reid Landes.
The family will visit with friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 30, 2008, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren.
