Graveside service for Etoile Weaver Brown, 87, of Decatur will be Friday, Oct. 31, 2008, at 1 p.m. at Burningtree Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Mitchell Williams officiating and Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.
Visitation will be Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Brown died Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2008, at Decatur General Hospital She was born Dec. 16, 1920, in Cherokee to Robert M. Weaver and Ethel E. Harris Weaver. She was a very loving mother and grandmother. Her husband, Eaddy Jay Brown, preceded her in death.
She is survived by her son, Manning Brown and his wife, Janie; daughter, Kay Harshaw and her husband, Phil; sister, Ruth Richardson and her husband, Ben; five grandchildren, Gregory Brown, Jeff Brown, David Brown, Matthew Harshaw and Kerri Harshaw; and four great-grandchildren, Christina Brown, Alison Brown, Taylor Brown and Erin Brown.
Memorials may be made to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Morgan County.
