Marvin William Davidson, 52, died Friday at his home near Swanville where he farmed. Mr. Davidson was born on August 3, 1921 in Woodward, Iowa to William and Mary Davidson and came to Minnesota with his parents as a young boy. He served in the United States Army during World War II. He married Inge Reisch on April 8, 1957 in Waldorf. He is survived by his widow, Inge, of the home; son Richard Davidson of Faribault; daughters, Joan Behsman and Shirley Thieschafer, both of Swanville, Rona Hanson of Long Prairie, and Ardis Davidson and Beverly Davidson, both of the home; sisters, Ruth Kendall of Garden City, Florence Ziegler of Sandstone, LaVar Christenson of Madelia, and Berneice Caley of Wyoming; half sisters, Chloe Adams, Helen Warden, and Louise Hemerick; and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Swanville with Rev. Arthur Beck officiating. Burial will be in St. Peter Cemetery under the direction of Shelley-Gibson Chapel.
