Brydon to reunion
Blan Brydon, 934 Moreau Drive, attended a 50th university reunion Saturday night of graduates of Bloomfield High School. Brydon, 69, said he was one of seven living members of the class of 1922. All seven attended the reunion at the Southeast Missouri High School.

Blan W. Brydon 85, of 934 Moreau Dr., died Wednesday at Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness.
He was born Jan. 28, 1903, near Bloomfield, a son of James "Doc" and Maude Walker Brydon. He was married June 6, 1936, to Marjory Elliott Amos, who survives at the home.
He was a graduate of Bloomfield High School and attended the University of Missouri. He was employed at Standard Printing Company Of Hannibal for more than 40 years. He was a member and elder of the First Presbyterian Church, a member of Jefferson City Lodge No. 43 A.F. & A.M., the Jefferson City Chapter No. 34, royal Arch Masons, the Ezra Council No. 32, Cryptic Masons, the Prince of Commandery No. 29, Knights Templar, the Moolah Temple, St Louis, the Cole County Historical Society and the United Commercial Travelers. He was the secretary of the Jefferson County Rotary Club for 21 years and a Paul Harris Fellow.
Other survivors include one son, David Brydon, Jefferson City, one brother, Donald J. Brydon, New York, N.Y.; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. R,W. Beard officiating. Burial will be in the Riverview Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday at Free Moruary and from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church.
Memorials can be made to The Presbyterian Church or the charity of the donors choice.
