Mrs Launer was born 16 May 1868 in Whiteside County, Illinois and came to Unionvale, Oregon, with her parents from Morrison, Illinois in 1874. The family settled on what is now the Royal Hibbs farm.
She married Carl Launer at the family home 01 September 1881. He died of a heart attack 07 April 1939.
Surviving are: three daughters, Mrs. Vera Diebel and Mrs. Carrie Kidd, both of Unionvale, Mrs.Constance Smith, West Palm Beach, Florada, four sons, Charles and Ari, both of Unionvale, Fred, Amity, Clarence, Pleasantdale, 12 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. John Hibbs, 91, McMinnville and Mrs. ED Howe, 86, Albany. One son Victor, preceded her in death in 1953.
Funeral services will be at Macy's Chapel, McMinnville at 1:30 p.m. Monday, 09 April. Burial will be beside her husband in the family plot at Evergreen Memorial Park, McMinnville
