Stella was born in Fitchburg, Mass., Nov 30, 1918, to Stanley E. and Helen M. Backus Bailey. Mrs. Carley resided most of her life in Baldwinsville.
Surviving are her husband, Glenn D.; a son, Tim of Mexico; two daughters, Pat Calkins of Baldwinsville and Glenda Bernadino of Hardwick, Vt.; three brothers, William Bailey of Vermont, Fred Bailey of Morrisville and Danny Moore of Dexter; three sisters, Freda Millspaugh of Montour Falls, June Switzer of Pulaski and Mona Vibbert of Fairport; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter, Donna J. Garrison in 1983.
