A resident and native of Baton Rouge, she died at 4:25 a.m. Wednesday, March 23, 2005, at Ochsner Clinic in New Orleans, after a courageous lifelong battle with cystic fibrosis. She was 25. Visiting at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, March 25, and from 10 a.m. Saturday, March 26, until service at 2 p.m. Burial in Greenoaks Memorial Park, Baton Rouge. She is survived by her husband, Nathan Hawkins; parents, James M. and Betty Rayborn Farlow; stepson, Hunter Hawkins; mother-in-law and stepfather-in-law, Susan and Mike Falcon; father-in-law, Kenneth Hawkins Sr., and his companion, Linda Geautreaux; brothers-in-law, Matthew Hawkins and Kenneth Hawkins Jr.; sister-in-law, Angela Hawkins; and stepsister-in-law, Shelby Falcon. She was preceded in death by an infant son, James Joseph Hawkins on March 15; grandparents, Matthew and Anna May Farlow and Davis and Annie Mae Rayborn Sr.; and grandmothers-in-law, Rhea Mae Bordelon Hawkins and Wilma Cronan. Pallbearers will be Ernest Bonaccorso III, Daniel McNair, Kenneth Hawkins Jr., Matthew Hawkins, Erick Hussien and Kenny Wayne Alexander.
