LeRoy "Bud" Zerbe Evans, 83, passed away on Wednesday, September 15, 2004 at the Macon Medical Center. Services will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 19, 2004, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service at McCullough Funeral Home.

Mr. Evans retired thirty years ago from civil service at Robins AFB. His retirement years were spent traveling the country with his wife, building model railroads and enjoying the company of his family. Preceding him in death just six weeks ago was his wife of 60 years, Virginia "Jinks" Evans. Also preceding him in death were his parents LeRoy and Mabel Evans, as well as two sisters and one brother.

Survivors include his children Bonnie Seabolt, Centerville, GA; Gary Evans (Susie), Chula Vista, CA; Ron Evans, Lebanon, PA; Susan Sims, Debbie Powell (James), Holly Pearce (Tom), all of Warner Robins, GA; sister Betty Kimmel, Lebanon, PA; fifteen grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.
