She was united in marriage to Benjamin Emmert on Nov. 20, 1895. To this union were born six sons: Jess, Floyd, Ivan and George of Sweet Home and Albert of Molalla. Her husband and son Ralph preceded her in death. She had 27 grandchildren, 71 great-grandchildren. One sister, Fannie Shenk of Sheridan, Ore. also survives.
She was a member of the Sweet Home Mennonite church, Sweet Home, Ore. Funeral services were held July 28 at the Tracewell Funeral home at ten o'clock, followed by a service at the Hopewell Mennonite Church, Hubbard, Ore. at 2 o'clock with Archie Kauffman and Walter McDowell officiating. Interment was made in the Hopewell Cemetery.
