VILES, THURMAN HOWARD - passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2002, at Hillcrest West Nursing Home. He was born February 23, 1915. Last surviving child of James Levi Viles and Lillie Joiner. Preceded in death by parents and brothers, Frank, Leonard, Henry and Fred sisters, Macola and Emojean one surviving sister-in-law, Ruth Viles, and lots of nieces and nephews. He was retired from Union Carbide after 27 years of service. He was also an avid cattle farmer. Family and friends will meet at 1:45 p.m. Friday at Solway Memorial Cemetery for a 2 p.m. graveside service. Friends may call at their convenience 2-8 p.m. Thursday at Weaver Funeral Home, 5815 Western Ave.
