Chelsea Veletta Moore Starbuck, 92, passed away Saturday, November 1, 2008. She was born December 18, 1915 in Wayne County, IN to Clarence and Anna Farmer. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters and three brothers. She married Rollie Moore in 1933. He died in 1976. She later married Roger Starbuck in 1978 and he died in 1993. She is survived by a son, William "Bill" Moore and wife, Deanna; daughter, Arlene Cole and husband, Albert; stepson, William Starbuck and wife Janice; stepdaughter, Mary Roark and a brother, Gene Farmer; grandchildren Pamela Gurth, Patty Vanderbeeken(Glen), Connie Carey (Jerry), Jeff Moore (Patti), Reasa Castillo (Cruz); 6 step grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren, and 13 great- great grandchildren. She was a devoted wife, a wonderful mother and was dearly loved by grandchildren; great-grandchildren, and great- great- grandchildren. She will be missed by all her family and friends.

She was very active in the Senior Music Clubs in Galena Park and Pasadena. She enjoyed listening to the music, but even more, enjoyed the many friends she made there. She had a special friend, Lucille, that attended with her and was more like a sister than a friend.
