Miss Kate Gross died at her home on Maple St in Clyde at 2:00 Thursday morning, aged 68 years. She was taken ill the day of her brother's funeral last Friday, and gradually failed until death came to her relief. Miss Gross was a native of Berks Co, Pa, and came to Ohio with her parents in 1848 and has been a resident of Clyde since 1864. For two years she devoted herself to the care of her brother, Chas. Gross, who died on Wednesday of last week. This is the third death in the family within seven weeks.
