Jack Louis Cannon went home to be with our Lord on Monday, Nov. 26, 2007.
Graveside service: 11 a.m. Friday in Laurel Land Memorial Park, Fort Worth. Visitation: 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday, with a rosary at 7 p.m., in Laurel Land Memorial Chapel, Fort Worth.
Jack was born Sept. 15, 1923, the only child of Allie H. and Aubrey L. Cannon. He proudly served his country in the United States Army and was the advertising director for Buddies & Winn Dixie Super Markets for 25 years. He retired to help Julia in their florist business from which they both retired. Jack was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved grandmother, Martha Francis Henderson; and his other grandparents.
Survivors: His loving wife of 54 years, Julia A.; his devoted children, daughter, Carol Ann McMahon of Fort Worth and son, Scott and wife, Debbie Cannon, of Cleburne. He was very proud to be called Grandpa by his grandson, John and wife, Meg Brockway, of Fort Worth; and his great-grandchildren, Hunter and Logan of Tennessee and Ashley and Alyssia of Fort Worth.
