Died, at 6 o'clock Sunday morning, Dec. 11, 1910, at the residence of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Wood, 913 North Walnut street, James Lee Wood, aged 23 years. Mr. Wood was favorably known in Springfield. For four years he had been employed at the shoe factory. He is survived by his parents; three brothers, Roy, Robert and Chester Wood; four sisters, Rena, Velma and Mable Wood. He was a member of the Yeoman of America, of the National Protective Legion and the Elliott Avenue Baptist church. The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at the residence, and at the Elliott Avenue Baptist church. The interment will be in Oak Ridge cemetery. IL State Register, Springfield, IL 12-12-1910
