Beatrice Phillips Brenner, 83, of Parkin, AR, died Monday, November 3, 2008, at her Memphis home.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Zona Rhed Phillips and Joseph A. Phillips and a sister, Marie P. Baker all of Memphis, Tn.

She is survived by her husband, Fred E. Brenner, Jr. of Parkin, Arkansas, and two daughters, Valerie Brenner-Pugh of Memphis, TN and Karen B. Skelley of Jacksonville, Florida, one granddaughter, two grandsons and one great granddaughter.

Visitation will be Thursday evening, November 6, 2008, 6 to 8 PM at Kernodle Funeral Home in Wynne, 315 East Union Avenue.

Funeral services will be at First United Methodist Church in Parkin, Arkansas, on Friday, November 7, 2008 at 2 PM. Interment will follow at Cogbill Cemetery in Wynne, Arkansas.

Born in Memphis, TN on April 21, 1925, Bea attended Memphis State University and worked as a stenographer at MGM in Memphis before and during World War II. Later, as a dedicated wife and homemaker, she also enjoyed painting, fishing, Junior golf instruction, dancing and playing cards. She will live on in the hearts and memories of those who loved and cherished her.

Memorial contributions may be sent to the Alzheimer's Association in Bea's name, via First United Methodist Church, Parkin, Arkansas.
