Mrs. Bertha I. Kimpel, 93, formerly of 1801 S. Eighth St., Springfield, IL, died at 8:30 a.m. Monday at St. John's Hospital, Springfield, IL.
A resident of Springfield for several years, Mrs. Kimpel was born in Morrisonville.
Her husband Oscar "Dutch" Kimpel, died in 1966 and a sister, Beryl Bushnell, died in 1964. Surviving are one niece and five nephews, including Harold McGeath and Ross Shephard, both of Springfield, and Benjamin Lewis Bushnell of Sherman.
Services will be at Bisch Memorial Home, with the Rev. William Peckham officiating. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
