Mr. Buie was born May 12, 1925 in Eufaula, Oklahoma. He was a U. S. Army veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He moved to Arizona in 1955 and operated Lester's Plumbine Co. for 17 years, and with his wife, Vera, Patchwork Crafts for seven years.
He was a past member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Eufaula. He died June 22, 1994 in Tucson.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Rebecca Curtis, of Casa Grande; two sons: Robert L. Jr. and William, both of Casa Grande; two sisters: Esther Brandon, of NE, and Roberta McQuay, of Haskell, OK; a brother, Leonard, of Fort Smith, AR; and three grandchildren.
