Gordon Kenneth Hawkins, 74, died Tuesday at his home in Visalia.
He was a dairy farmer in the Taurusa area for many years, and before retiring in 1970, he was a rural Times-Delta carrier.
He was a native of Visalia. He married Carlene Patterson in Las Vegas in 1938. He was a World War II Army Air Corps veteran.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son Robert A. Hawkins of Fresno; one daughter, Linda Hawkins of Visalia; one sister, Irene Miller of Visalia; and two grandchildren.
Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Oxford Chapel Methodist Church. Burial will be in Visalia Cemetery under the direction of Hadley Funeral Chapel.
