JAMES KINNEY ASBURY, age 72, Kendall Branch Road, Cynthiana, died Sunday, May 6, 2007, at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington. Born in Harrison County, May 17, 1934, to the late Earl and Alice Kinney Asbury, he was a retired Webber Farms employee and a United States Air Force veteran. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Richard Dale Asbury.
He is survived by his wife, Della Earlywine Asbury; two sons, Mike (Lisa) Asbury, Indianapolis, Indiana and Randy Joe Asbury, Harrodsburg; two daughters, Kathy (Bobby) Dennis, Sunrise and Melissa Asbury, Cynthiana; a brother, Billy (Maryland A.) Earl Asbury, Cynthiana; three sisters, Mary Alice Higginbotham, Brook Park, Ohio, Sandra (Homer) Smith, Medina, Ohio and Mildred Darlene (Freddie) Rogers, Winchester; nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Wednesday at Ware Funeral Home by Bro. Cliff Creech. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. Tuesday. Burial will be in Sunrise Cemetery.
