She was the daughter of James CHAPMAN and Polly (unknown) CHAPMAN. She married Alexander BAKER 17 Nov 1833 in New Bedford, MA (NEHGS marriages pre-1850 New Bedford Vol 2, pg 38). Alexander and Pamelia had at least three children : Pamelia Marie (b: 1836), Alexander G (b: 1844), and Charles Gorham BAKER (b: 1846). .... After Alexander, Sr's death in 1846, Pamelia married Capt. William OLIVER on 1 Jan 1868 (NEHGS marriages post-1850 Dennis Vol 208, pg 8).Captain William OLIVER (mem # 18504642) was also married to (1) Dorcas (Baker) OLIVER; and (2) Larosiere (Howes) BAKER ---- Anyhoo, back to Pamelia (Chapman) (Baker) OLIVER, her death registry is at NEHGS Dennis 1881 Vol 325, pg 5. additional information courtesy of PJ (#47186656)
