Mrs. Abramson attended Lancaster County Bible Church. She was a member of the VFW Post 1463 Lititz Springs Post, and the 7th Ward Club. Dorothy was an avid Penn State Football fan, and enjoyed playing bingo. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Mrs. Abramson is survived by her daughters: Alice Housman of Lancaster, and Eileen, wife of Michael Floyd of Lititz; sisters: Alice Welliver of Danville, and Elenor Parr of Allentown; granddaughters: Davetta, Angela, Pamela, and Sherry; grandsons: James and Sean; great granddaughters: Jennifer and Abigal; and great grandsons: Brandon, Dylan, Aaron, and Tyler. In addition to her husband, Dorothy is predeceased by a sister Mary Wheler.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 12th, at the Gundel Funeral Home, 415 North Duke St., Lancaster, with the Rev. Karl E. Steffy officiating. Viewing will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Conestoga Memorial Park.
