Born in Marysville, she was the daughter of the late Clarence D. and Margaret E. (Friese) Adams.
She was the widow of Russell N. Heckert and was also preceded in death by a sister Beula Hummel and two brothers Oscar and Luther Adams.
Beatrice retired from People's Drug Store (formerly Rea and Derrick) at the Colonial Park Shopping Center and was a member of Mt. Laurel Church of God.
She enjoyed pinochle, housekeeping, and spending time with her grandsons.
She is survived by a daughter, Adriane B. Kirk of Allentown; two sons, Douglas and his partner Duc M. Tran of Harrisburg and Gregory S. and his wife, Bonita of Piketown: three sisters, Sara Crosley and Bessie Coleman both of Mechanicsburg and Mary Harold of Marysville; a sister-in-law, Elsie Adams of Mechanicsburg and five grandsons, Clinton R., Bradley E., and Mitchel S. Heckert and Matthew W. and Michael T. Kirk.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 12, at 11:00 AM at Hoover Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., 6011 Linglestown Rd., Harrisburg with Rev. Michael D. Martin officiating,
Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
There will be a viewing from 10:00 AM until the time of services
