Father Le Beau was born on May 13, 1923 in Cheshire, the son of Cyril Le Beau and Stella (Ostrabinski) Le Beau. He was raised in an apartment over a bar room, which contributed to his life-long compassion for the poor. He attended St. Anselm College and St. Charles College in Catonsville, MD. He studied for the priesthood at St. Mary's in Baltimore and was ordained on May 22, 1948 in Albany, NY by Bishop Gibbons.

Fr. Le Beau served in Chicopee, Hinsdale, Hawley, and Our Lady of the Angels in Worcester. He served in the Army as a 1st Lt. in Cape Cod and in Germany, where he got permission to allow an engineering unit to dig a foundation for a small village chapel.

After returning to Worcester he served in several other parishes including St. Johns, St Roch in Oxford and Sacred Heart of Jesus in Worcester. His compassion for God's people contined in many ways; from door to door searches for children in need of religion classes to donating part of his salary back to poor parishes. Fr. Cy died on Jan 12, 2004 at his residence in Vianney House.
