Agnes was born in Johnstone, County Renfrew, Scotland on July 19, 1891, the daughter of Robert and Anne Murphy McColl. She immigrated to the US as an adult and married James Patrick O'Connor on Sep 10, 1918 in Worcester. They had 6 surviving children: James, Agnes (buried with her), Mary, Francis (who died in 1942), an infant named Bridget, and Catherine O'Connor.

Her obituary reads, "Mrs. Agnes O'Connor, 39, of 33 Thomas St, who collapsed in her home (of a stroke) and fell against a lighted gas range, died at City Hospital on August 26, 1930. Mrs. O'Connor received what was thought at first to be only slight burns, the flames being extinguished when she fell on the floor". Her children remember being sent to the store after the accident. By the time they got home, the ambulance was pulling away from the house. They did not see her again, despite the 22 days between the accident and her death.

Agnes left behind five children, three sisters - Jane, wife of Charles Marlowe (memorial # 62410107), Katherine, wife of John Flockert, and Mary, wife of Thomas McChane of Scotland, and a brother Stewart of Yonkers (and later -Detroit).

Her husband is buried in a plot on the other side of the same section.
