A farmer and rancher, Mr. Havel was born June 11, 1916, in Lavaca County of which he was a life-long resident.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Sweet Home with burial in Sweet Home Cemetery.
A rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Sunday at Buffington Funeral Home in Yoakum.
Surviving are five sisters, Miss Mary Havel of Praha, Mrs. Emily Dornak of St. Mary’s, Mrs. Helen Kosler of Shiner, Mrs. Agnes Sablatura of El Campo and Mrs. Annie Padalecki of San Antonio, and two brothers, Otto J. and Louis Havel of Sweet home.
