MANSFIELD — Billy R. Dismukes, 75, of Mansfield died Monday, Sept. 20, 1999, at his home. He was a retired building contractor and raised cattle. He was a veteran of World War II.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Mansfield First Baptist Church, with burial at Hartford Memorial Cemetery in Hartford under the direction of Martin Funeral Home of Mansfield.
He is survived by his wife, Geneva; three daughters, Judith Ballard of Joplin, Mo., Jan Jones of Fort Smith and Carolyn Book of Tyrone, Ga.; two brothers, Hugh of Elgin, Okla. and Ernie of Fontana, Ga.; seven grandchildren, Mark Ripley, Christine Conner, Sara Larkin, Lara Whitaker and Angela, Jonathan and Jason Book; and two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jonathan and Jason Book, Fletcher Larkin, Jeremy Whitaker and Jeffrey and Robert Dismukes.
