Harold James Anderson was the son of William Anderson Jr. and Ada Elizabeth Allison. He was a gunner in the 4th Bn., Canadian Machine Gun Corps. Near sunrise of August 8, 1918, during the Battle of Amiens, his tank was struck by Friendly Fire, killing him instantly.
