Mrs. Ray died Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2006, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
She was born Aug. 6, 1912, in Beverly, Mo., the daughter of Richard and Mattie May Tate.
She was a homemaker and worked with her husband on the family farm. She attended Clinton Parkway Assembly of God Church in Lawrence.
She married Leonard James Ray on Aug. 3, 1929, in skaloosa. He died in July 1998.
Survivors include two sons, Bobby and Donald Ray, both of Lawrence; 17 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; 25 great-great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-great-grandchildren.
