He grew up on a ranch on Durbin Creek. After his marriage, he and his bride moved to Huntington in 1900. Mr. Bryant engaged in stock raising for a number of years. He became chief of police at Huntington about 1929. He was a member of the IOOF lodge of Huntington and of the Dixie grange.

Funeral services were at the M. E. church in Huntington Friday afternoon at 2 p.m.
